Ventajas
As long as you show you are capable of handling your projects, its very flexible here on how you want to work. You work with your leads and peers often, and can usually negotiate flexible office time vs work from home time. Policy is flex time for engineers starting 7-9am and ending 4-6pm in the office. They encourage taking your lunch breaks but also expect overtime since the nature of our projects tends to just need extra time to complete deliverables before the deadlines.
Desventajas
Projects are very demanding and sometimes having more than one project at a time can feel impossible, and the mistakes you may make are known and used as examples. It's meant to be a good thing to learn from others mistakes however it's not a great feeling to know everyone is watching what you do. Plus, there is very little "formal training" when starting so the attitude here comes off as "do as I say, not as I do" which can also lead people astray.
