1. Late night work (Requirements change only a day or two before the releases)
2. No cabs back to home if you are working late night.
3. For girls, after 8pm you have to sign a declaration before leaving the office premises that says "If anything happens to me, company is not responsible".
4. According to Product Management, coding is not complicated unless you are sending a man to Mars.
5. One womanizer on the floor. Highly partial to only those who "pleases" him as he asks a lot for "favors". If you say no, you will have tough time working.
6. We're in 2020 and most of the code is in VB.NET
Worst part is all the hikes and annual bonuses (part of salary) are deferred indefinitely (due to business loss during the pandemic) and people are being laid off/leaving the company.
To all the freshers, you would have been given a lot of false hopes but now you know the reality and job security. If you get to stay, expect to work >60 hours a week (INCLUDING weekends) and learn absolutely nothing.
Management has proposed employees to accept a contract of staying with the company for an year as a compensation for additional monitor/screen (to work better from home). The ones who do not sign up for a monitor will be tagged as "likely to leave" and may get fired too.
