Ventajas

i am sorry, i cant think of one. everyday in the last few months before my leaving was a dread. My sincere warning to all prospective joiner. Do your due diligence and find out more from your friends and industrial players before you are being lured by their initial compensation package. Your compensation package might not withstand for more than 12 months.

Desventajas

Toxic organization with every member of the management trying to cling on their job by pandering the ambition of DMD and Division CFO. The only thing they care is the perpetual growing targets on every month, every quarter, every year. All others thing they say about diversity and inclusion, equality, sustainability, wellbeings, ethics and compliance are slogan trying to appear nice as a UK public listed company. The DMD was a PRC (China) origin and now converted into a Singaporean. The immense pressure put on achieving the number encourages everyone to achieve the target set by him by ALL MEANS. Whether they are ethical or not, the DMD will have a final say on the investigation result and recommendation because the reporting structure is not impartial and not independent. Taking immense amout of risk, so that during his tenure, the DMD could show that he was successful in his own CV and will most likely use this as a stepping stone to higher ground, leaving behind the the mess for whoever will succeed him to take care the rest. Bullying culture is pervasive. Lower rank employees are being yelled at with the perpetrators continue staying in the organization with impunity. They key for such double standard treatment is who are you connected with. If you are of revenue generator for the DMD, you will be sure that you can retire from the organization (provided the organization survives until your retirement). APAC operation is Korean-centric. The Korean leaders practice favourtism in making sure every functional head is held by their own koreans. The leader himself cannot communicate properly, his command of English is subpar and flawed with incoherence. He is only good at giving unrealistic target, mainly because he needs to deliver his own boss, the DMD, expectation. However, he has no strategy or solution to the dilemma and can only resort to saying the general thing "we must think of other ways to win our competitors" ...but what other ways did he have? he takes no accountability at all. the organization has no new products to offer to the market and the existing industries the organization is serving is declining (oil and gas, fossil etc.) They came up with the Growth Hub project intending to convince investors that they have a plan to counter this threat but drilling into the substance of growth hub is nothing more than upgrading their existing products to eat into the competitors' market shares. The irony is, if they can upgrade their products, then why the customers would want to buy a less superiort products from them from the beginning and then subsequently subject themselves to upgrade using IMI "growth hub" project.
