      Ventajas

      The company is very proactive in providing life balance and a great working environment.

      Desventajas

      The only con I've had to date is the updated policy on registered domestic partners.

      Thank you for your feedback. Harris is working diligently on Inclusion and Diversity. I reviewed our handbook and reached out to the HR leaders who own the benefits policies and we are unaware of a change to registered domestic partners. Please send an email to weareharris@harriscomputer.com or reach out to your HR Advisor with personal specifics as we would like to understand this change and how is has effected you.

      Ventajas

      Great company to work for, though they are all about the next thing to acquire.

      Desventajas

      401K plan is a 'maybe we will match' type thing. Could be much better.

      Ventajas

      It (mostly) pays the bills. Your day to day experience will depend entirely on the business unit you are in and your localized management.

      Desventajas

      Compensation is low. Their business model is just continuously acquiring established software companies, gutting them, and rebuilding them according to their model. Standard corporate experience. They will pay you as little as possible to retain you, and do things like changing the structure of HSA contributions to save a buck.
