Ventajas

Well known brand that is located across the US. Multiple roles open depending on the area. Room for advancement if you are willing to learn other aspects of the hotel outside of job duties specific to your role.

Desventajas

Hospitality can be hit or miss depending on how much you enjoy front facing guest situations. Guests expect quality service because of the brand. Will have to stay open in job searching for management positions if a property has some long standing managers who will likely not vacant positions.

Ventajas

Consistent hours, employee discount for hotel stays was a big bonus, owners and management was generally always on-call to assist with any problems.

Desventajas

Management was unable to resolve conflicts between staff, members of management caused a significant amount if drama and often created a hostile work environment.
