Ventajas
(1) If you are average person in your field, you find it really easy to prove yourself. (2) It is a company that gives you a sense of stability in career. (3) Anyone who wants to run a side business and take less pain in working, it is real good place. (4) Even if you are Meeting Expectation for consecutive many years, your salary will be just Rs 1 Lac less than Outstanding performer. (5) It is very easy for an employee to get onsite opportunity. That this the only charm from monitory front.
Desventajas
(1) HR is worth nothing, they are completely senseless people. (2) 70% to 80% staff is not up to standards of their job requirement. In a group of 10 only 1 person runs the show. (3) Employee First is completely a showoff and way to get fame. Employees are first when it comes to any compromise or sacrifice. But good part is that they make employee feel that he is doing so for himself. (4) Salary is biggest issue, they can hire a person at your level with double your salary. But if you stay long enough and even after being O3 (Top rated for last three consecutive years) you will always be underpaid. (5) HCL does not do any best of the work in Software services area. (6) Since salary is very less, compensations are structured in such a way that even in 5 years it will be hard for E1, E2 band employee to have 1 Lac PF. (7) Health insurance used to be a very good in HCL but not anymore. (8) Internal Politics and Competition (9) Promotions are very easy but have really no meaning; they have divided their bands so heavily. Control and authority is moving with same people at higher and higher levels.
