Ventajas
Great work life balance. Not an "average" retail store: ie hours of operation, holiday season is the slowest time of year. The business idea is great! A one stop shop for everything baby. The products offered are the best of the best, it takes the guess work out of the equation for new parents. A rewarding job helping new parents decide on all the products that are needed to create a nursery and all the essential gear items needed for their growing family.
Desventajas
The support from the corporate office is non-existent. There are no polices or procedures. The team work between corporate and retail locations is minimal at best. The turnover at this company will be one of its downfalls, there is absolutely no job security. There is no potential to move up in the company. When I was given training, I was not even showed how to operate the POS system! That is the most basic and essential piece of running a retail location.
