Ventajas
This is a small company so it is easy to stand out. You also have the opportunity to work in many different positions. They attempt to have a management trainee program to cultivate young engineers. Opportunity to work with a unique product with great engineering minds.
Desventajas
The many positions you will work in have nothing to do with your background nor what you are wanting to do. This company creates positions out of thin air and throws you into them without goals nor objectives with the expectation of greatness. Extremely limited diversity and inclusion. Upper management is primarily male, no females in operations, only one African American in management, no representation from other nationalities outside of Texas in management roles, (it's a very Southern "good ol' boys" type environment). Salaried employees have the same bonus as the non-salaried employees unless you have direct reports. And because of the skeleton bone crew, everyone is overwhelmed and working with a system not meant to do what the company is wanting. There are great generational gaps. Most employees have been with the company 20+ years and have been given positions based on seniority. They usually have no idea what they are doing and no educational background to suit the role nor does the company push them to get educated in he area. High stress environment.
