Ventajas
Products are good and getting better every day, seems to be a real ongoing focus on improving all aspects of the business which has accelerated in the last 18 months. Clients I spoke to in my time here have said that the company's services/products are better than competitors who are generally perceived as amateurish. The hiring is generally good now with less 'bad hires' arriving than previously (though still a couple made it through). There has been a project over the last couple of years to get rid of many of the less productive people which has been acknowledged as a good thing by most. Teams generally work really well together and there is a good shared view on how to move forward. Several colleagues were given opportunities to change teams and take on new responsibilities which was great - there does really seem to be a culture of if you are good you can do other things. As I am leaving the CEO has moved back to London and that has also seems to be having a good effect. I would have stayed except for commute.
Desventajas
As others have mentioned there has been historically a lack of training opportunities - this has been improved this year for managers and team leaders but a bit more work required in this aspect, especially since they are a training company! Some IT and accounting systems need some work as they can be clunky to get things done which take up times. Salary levels were ok but not overly generous.
