Ventajas
The company has really good people that work there. About half of the employees work remotely and others work at the HQ in San Jose. For the East Coast staff, the company used to have occasional lunches or get togethers but they have stopped doing that. They also take good care of employees while traveling for a conference. This can be the most fun because you interact with other members of the team and the company sponsors dinners at high-end restaurants. The product that is the basis for FileTrail is stable and receives great feedback from their customers. The VPs and CEO have great pride in the product and know the industry well. The company has a good mix of Sales, Tech Support, Engineers, and PMs.
Desventajas
Work becomes very monotonous and requirements change a lot...often near a deadline For most positions, there's no room to grow. Staff come and go. There's usually no announcement who a staff member is or when an employee has left. Technical staff should be encouraged to use Unit Testing to have a more efficient QA process
