Ventajas

It’s stable. You really have to want it to get fired. There’s no layoffs and there’s plenty of work to do.

Desventajas

Managers get away with A LOT. There are a few good managers there, but there are significantly more bad ones. It used to be a lot better, but the past few years have really shown the direction the company is going. The pay is low and you are asked to continuously do more—and raises aren’t impressive. If you are smart and capable, you’ll likely be asked to do things that aren’t your job at all. There are far too many people there for the amount of progress and work they get done, so they make up for the slackers by pushing the hard workers too hard and they end up leaving.

Ventajas

Clean, modern office 401k best in class, solid benefits Culture of giving back to community Cross departmental buddy program Flexible work arrangements and time off policies Fun yearly company party

Desventajas

Overrealiance on consultants vs. Internal staff, siloed knowledge Lack of technical expertise across the board in modernizing the business, especially in senior leadership Overcommitting and underdelivering on most critical project in company's history, inability to plan correctly Hypersensitive outdated workplace culture, sycophantic middle managers 6-7 hours of meetings a day vs. prioritizing the actual work, certain managers would work on weekends/off-hours to make up for this, creating a culture of "always needing to work" to make up for excessive meetings General mistreatment of skilled staff members willing to help out/learn Lack of opportunities for growth or professional development
