Ventajas
Management is very approachable and fairly accommodating. Scheduling time off doesn't have the hassle some other jobs have had as long as you're not being sketchy. While my supervisor is always available for a question or concern, they're hands off enough that I can effectively do my job while finding ways to improve the process. Initiative is also encouraged and when you do good things they're recognized. Management expects high standards, but I don't feel like I'm being taken for granted, and when a mistake is made I'm never berated or made to feel like an idiot. My coworkers all seem to be fairly friendly. Like any office you'll have the whiners and bad apples, and they tend to either get weeded out or leave on their own. At least once a month there seems to be some social event, whether someone is bringing in baked goods, a happy hour, or even a "Wear your Astros gear" day. In all, I feel like the company gives off a fairly positive vibe.
Desventajas
Some of the policies and procedures seem like they were slapped together last minute or are outdated. But if you're someone with initiative these are also great opportunities to stand out. Like anywhere, communication between departments could be improved.
