Very little training provided, and no where to turn for resources needed to do your job. Lots of favoritism to people of certain ethnic backgrounds. Discrimination is very real at Echelon. If you complain about being mistreated, you become public enemy number 1. Career advancement is only for a chosen few. If you apply for a different position, you'll be told 100 reason why you didn't get the job, but they have no problem hiring other people (usually friends and family members) with 0 experience. The rules only apply to some employees, and most employees you communicate with often has 0 people's skills. They say whatever they feel like saying, and text whatever they feel like texting, regardless if it's disrespectful, and this is encouraged! Echelon hires people with 0 to little Insurance experience, so it's a start to get you through the door, if you belong to the I, I abd E ethnic group, stick around, but if you belong to the B ethnic group just know that you need to get whatever industry experience you can, then bounce. Even if you belong to the B group and you get promoted, you will be overworked compared to the I, I and E ethnic group.
