Ventajas

35% of the people there are really nice and still my friends to this day.

Desventajas

Was working there for 8 years. Started at $8 per hour and left at $9.33 per hour. Got an empty promotion while I was there. More of a pseudo lead in attempts to make me happy since I made great strides in improving their systems to be more productive. People that had started there during my last year came in at $10 per hour. When I asked for raise, I was shot down. I literally left there to work at McDonalds. Really, the best decision I have ever made. Management were a lazy bunch of -enter cusses here-. They did what ever it took to transfer their work loads to other departments. Their write up system was a joke. Most of them are unavoidable.

Ventajas

During my time at the company (which was a little over 3 years), I found it relatively easy to earn a bi-weekly bonus. This job isn't for everybody, clearly - but since I'm not a career-driven person, it was a good fit for me. I came in, did my job, and left, giving no thought to the office until I returned after the weekend, which I think is the best way to approach this company. It's a job, not a career.

Desventajas

A bit soul-sucking and very boring, tedious, repetitive work. The environment is cubicles with fluorescent lighting, and I found it very difficult to make connections- it doesn't seem like a unified team. Managers usually left me alone to do my work, but I know they didn't actually care about me (they were not aware that it was my last day, although I had related this information a month before and supplied written notice), and I hated the smug ranks of upper-management. It's my understanding that this company has downsized dramatically, cutting more than 3/4ths of their work force, and it was mainly a popularity contest when determining who would stay employed.
