Ventajas
Community Advanced Practice Nurses is a free clinic in Atlanta that mainly serves at-risk population, homeless, and uninsured population. It's a great experience to have a better understanding of the population. I get to have the first-hand experience talking and knowing the population and see how's their lives and health condition. Especially for a public health student, what I observed from my work could be my research topics and career interest. Meanwhile, the people working in the clinic are the most excellent colleagues that I've been working with so far. They are willing to teach and share their experience in here. I was amazed during the time working here.
Desventajas
Since it's a free clinic in Atlanta, the location is a little bit hard to find, and most of the people working here are volunteers, so sometimes it might be short in hands. However, the clinic is really flexible, people are willing to help, so not a big deal.
