Ventajas
- excellent people with some genuinely amazing engineers to learn from
- pretty generous conference budget
- exposure to a range of tech and industries
- amazing office tea/coffee/snack
Desventajas
- a lack of long term ownership over projects inherent in working at a services company
- pay is on the low side
- lack of structured on boarding as a junior meant it was very sink or swim. This works for some and not for others
- experience is somewhat luck of the draw based on projects. Some are amazing, others are… not.
- I could never put my finger on the cause, but even by tech standards there’s a real lack of gender diversity in engineering
