Respuesta de Codebox
9yThe employees are a reflection of the management. All our employees have joined Codebox as freshers. It is the management that makes the employees who they are and it is the employees that make the company what it is. We understand the value of all our employees and ensure that we undertake the best possible efforts to keep the employees happy. The mere fact that you have been ranting so much about the company suggests that you did not stay long enough to understand the work culture and the benefits of working in Codebox.
Let me assess each point you mentioned in greater detail :
1. About our training : We do not believe in spoonfed training. There are companies which will provide you classroom lectures and notes. However, our understanding is that this is not a good way to learn. Being in the IT field where you have to be constantly aware of technologies changing around you, self-learning is the best learning. This is the habit that we try to instill among our employees. If you ask employees who are currently working with this, they will tell you the same thing. This is what made them what they are today. As for insulting, shouting and screaming - You are exaggerating. I can vouch for it that nobody has shouted / screamed in our company - Ever. There is however a chance that you have been given a critical review of your work - That happens in every company and depending on how sensitive your feelings are, you may have confused this with shouting and screaming. We do not shout and scream. You are free to take a review of the bosses from the other people working here at Codebox.
2. You say that you get an improvement list each month - Isn't that a good thing ? Do you ask for a hike every month ? After how many months did you ask for a hike ? We review salaries of all employees every 10-12 months. There has not been an employee in the history of this company who has not been given a hike after 12 months (regardless of performance).
3. For frequent sick leaves, we ask for medical certificate (which is an industry standard rule), We give enough sick leaves and casual leaves as per industry standards. You are free to take them anytime you want. We are even flexible to allow our employees to use up their sick leave for casual purposes. All I can say is that point #3 you mentioned is absolutely false.
To the review poster : It is disappointing that you are here to exert your personal vendetta on a company that probably did not accept you because of your shortcomings (since you have decided to remain anonymous - we cannot tell what the shortcomings were) or let you go because you did not fit the criteria of an ideal employee (judging from your rant, I am glad we did).
To others reading this review : It is easy to make an opinion of a company just by reading a review. There are always two sides to a story. Don't believe everything you hear. Make your own opinions.
