Ventajas
I love the hours at this job… If you are a morning person it’s great because you start early and you get out early (6am-3pm). I really enjoy the team that I work with and have made lasting friendships at this company. This job has built my confidence in inside sales and skills on the phone. I like that my management is available and accessible because we are a single location bank... everyone involved in the process of our transactions is in our building. Recently the commission plan has been updated to get us paid on deals quicker... and the commission is uncapped. You don’t need finance experience to be successful here.
Desventajas
The sales cycle is long, I had to adjust from a sales environment where I “sold” something every day. The repetitiveness of our daily activities can get frustrating when we don’t have a lot of deals to work on. Our database could use some work, but for the most part, that depends on the thoroughness of previous reps (how thorough they were about l avoid notes). The focus of the type of deal we seek is very narrow, which can be frustrating. The open format seating can be distracting.
