Ventajas
Bluewave Computing presents the opportunity to truly grow with a company. While it does take some time to progress up the ranks, it is very possible to get noticed because of the organizational structure of the teams. If you are a hard worker and are self-motivated, there is no reason that you will not move up very quickly at this organization.
I have seen the ups and downs. Even when the economy took a turn for the worst, this company still did not let anyone go due to financial problems. The CEO is very committed to his employees.
Now, the economy has turned around and management is noticing that we are a bit behind on compensation. What do they plan to do? They are re-evaluating the compensation to bring them more in line with industry standards. Management is very agile and nimble given the correct data to back any changes that someone suggests.

Desventajas
Due to Bluewave still being a relatively small company, people sometimes wear multiple hats resulting in some ambiguous responsibilities. This is starting to get better as the company is in a major growth pattern and responsibilities are being assigned to their rightful places, and people are getting placed "inside the correct box."
