Ventajas
BitGo is a fast-moving company where you can gain a lot of experience quickly. Engineers can take large shares of ownership over their work, although this is partially due to disorganized management (see below). Intelligent and engaging people in all departments, and a good brand based on time in the market.
Desventajas
The culture took a steep downhill turn while I was there. High turnover in management, mainly because the CEO doesn't trust his people. Lots of office politics for such a small company. Total dysfunction in terms of actually executing on projects, coupled with high expectations reinforced by fear. Goals change frequently, constructive feedback is scarce, and line-level employees are blamed for project failures. Claims to offer 'work flexibility' but the unspoken expectation from upper management is long hours in the office. Promotions often promised, contingent on reaching some goal, only for the rules to change once that goal is reached.
