Ventajas

- Strong team culture and leadership, people genuinely care about each other and celebrate wins together - Agility and flexibility: the team is able to adapt to market changes swiftly; there isn't that much red tape at the company so it's easy to get things done - Strong upward mobility and exposure to people management very early on in your career - Team has been very responsive to compensation changes in the market in order to attract the best talent; leadership advocates for increases in compensation across all levels of the team - Leadership on the team is very open to feedback; when something isn't going well you feel comfortable telling leadership and trusting that something will be done - All hands on deck mentality: people are willing to help even if they're not directly involved in a project you're working on - A lot of organized and reliable processes to get work done; there is some ambiguity depending on your role and the season but leadership helps you navigate it - Almost everyone on the team is high performing: you can trust people to do their work well

Desventajas

- High growth of the company means that targets are scaling every year; role is very metrics-focused and there is a heavy workload - Longer hours than your average 9-5, but the team has gotten better about work life balance in recent years (no emails or messages after 6pm unless urgent and you're not expected to reply/do work when on PTO) - Brand recognition among students is weaker compared to other companies so it is very difficult to stand out among big name employers during events - Changes on the team are sometimes implemented very quickly and it can be hard to keep up if you do not like the fast pace - Work can become repetitive when you're in execution-heavy roles, but quick promotion timelines ensure that you're never in a role for too long
