Ventajas
Airdev is a great company. If you're interested in software development, no-code tools or building startups, it's hard to image a more interesting environment. Airdev's screening and interview process is fair but rigorous, which has helped them assemble an amazing team. Everyone here is smart and capable, and their are no issues with internal politics or conflict. The team is remote and globally distributed, with a heavy emphasis on and aptitude for asynchronous work. You will not waste time on pointless calls or meetings. Your time will be your own to plan and use in whatever way makes you most productive, and work life balance is very reasonable. As a custom software development agency with a heavy emphasis on no code tools, Airdev provides lots of opportunity to learn new skills and build tools to help with your day to day work across a wide range of roles. As a growing startup, Airdev's management structure is still relatively flat, so ideas are accepted from all team members and changes can be adopted and implemented quickly. Airdev has invested years of hard work in establishing itself as a leader in the no code software development movement and seems very well positioned to continue growing along with that movement.
Desventajas
Because the team is remote and distributed, much interaction will be asynchronous and written. This can be great in that it will allow you the ability to plan your day and use your time however you see fit, but if you thrive on in person or live collaboration, you might find yourself wishing for more opportunities to do those things. One of Airdev's values involves embracing change, and it definitely lives by that value. If you don't cope well with change or prefer a very settled, established environment, this might not be the place for you. As a relatively small startup, Airdev may lack some of the formalized organizational support structures of a large organization (ex: large HR dept., formalized professional development structures, etc.). Management does seem fully dedicated to developing these structures as the company grows, but they don't all exist today to the same extent that they might at a larger company. Airdev's pay and benefits are quite good for a startup, but you can probably make more money for a similar role at a larger organization.
