      Ventajas

      Basically everyone whom I work (or have worked) with at AMBOSS is genuinely friendly, open and helpful. You will meet amazing people here. There is generally a very positive atmosphere (maybe even to a fault, at times). There is a good feedback culture and management strives to be as transparent as it can be. The company tries to accommodate employees wherever possible - things like working remotely or having a somewhat flexible work schedule have never been an issue, and there are some great benefits. Lastly, while, after all, this is still a private company that needs to generate revenue, I feel AMBOSS is actually devoted to its values and its mission, which is a very motivating factor.

      Desventajas

      AMBOSS has grown quite a lot in a relatively short period. Not all internal organizational structures etc. have scaled to the same extent (or in the way that would have been optimal), so that, sometimes, this causes slightly unclear communication and similar issues. Also, there is a certain tendency to not have too much "negativity" (for lack of a better term), which can lead to problems not being addressed.

      Ventajas

      Fun workplace. Travel to different office locations. Fun colleagues. Solid PTO. Office parties, and lots of food and booze!

      Desventajas

      Pay! Seriously way underpaid. Also, no bonuses, or equity. Didn’t check your email over the weekend to respond to a client? Slap on the wrist. (Want me to check my emails on a weekend? Pay me more.) No possibility to move up in most roles, unless you’re in engineering or product development. This place is a revolving door. People quit or get fired all the time. I’ve stopped learning new employee’s names. Management here is as diverse as my taste in wines. White and cold.
