what if web application user reports an error of webpage not working,how would you proceed what details you require to recreate the scenario

you check for product release version browser the client is using(compatibility test) authorization access(user might not be authorised to access that webpage) after getting all environment details,if you still are unable to reproduce the defect-- The most important is to ask the logs from user and provide to developer for verifying & fixing issue
