Initially had a phone screening which I thought went pretty well. I was told I had great experience and that they’d “definitely” be in touch by the next day about scheduling an in person interview. I didn’t hear anything for a week, so I emailed them. I was then told they were still going through interviews that week and would get back to me at the end of the week. 3 weeks passed without hearing anything. I finally reached back out, to find out that they had hired someone else. I’m not upset about not getting the position, but don’t tell people multiple times you will get back to them in a certain period of time and then not do that. It looks really unprofessional and gives me a bad impression of the company.
