I applied through an online portal and forgot about it until a couple months later, when I received a call to come in for an out of the blue interview. I met with the store manager who asked me specific example based questions which I was allowed to answer by using experience from my prior jobs. (Tough customer/coworker, success story, etc.) She then wrote down my responses on some sort of grading sheet and had me choose an outfit. A few days later she called me to ask if I’d like to go forward by phone interview with the DM. The interview with the DM was essentially the same as the one I had with the store manager, almost easier. The next day, I was offered the job.
