Initial screening via phone interview . This was followed by digital assessment covering skill, literacy and numeracy and behavioural questions. This was followed by an onsite face to face interview consisting of behavioural questioning and role play.

My experience with the recruitment team at eBay was an absolute nightmare. I first interviewed for the role of Payments Teammate, and while I wasn’t offered the job they told me that they felt I would be a good fit for the Customer Experience Team. I would not have to go through the whole application process again, only the final interview, and I was told that they would email me within a month to arrange this. I heard nothing, and about two weeks after the job was posted online I reached out to the recruiter to advise that I was still interested and I looked forward to hearing from them. This email, and one more about a week later went completely ignored which I found incredibly rude. A few months later eBay were hiring again for the customer experience team so I applied again from scratch, and managed to get through to the next round at which point the recruiter (different from the last time) told me that they were aware that I’d reached the final interview previously. I went through round 2 and 3, and reached the final interview again. Once again, I wasn’t offered the job but I was told that they’d welcome another application from me in the future. At this point I have no desire to work for eBay.
