A friend referred me to MLOA. He put in a good word for me. I did check out MLOA on Glassdoor and read that training was not too good. They have recently improved training and I am happy with the training I received. There were 2 interviews. The first interview was with a sales director and the second was with a team lead. I felt very comfortable in each. I think the 2 interviews were 1 week apart. I received an offer within a week and accepted. I am required to get Mortgage Loan Originator licenses in several states. I already had a couple states so I was able to get selling right away.I now have 6 states. You must be self motivated to do this job.

The interview process started with a brief phone call with a recruiter from the Zillow Home Loans team, then a formal phone interview with one of the hiring managers, and then an on-site interview where I sat down with three managers individually and shadowed a member of my potential department for an hour.
