The recruitment process was all-around positive and transparent. Good flexibility in scheduling the interviews, which were all remote. They make sure all your questions are given an answer and email replies are quick.
The first contact was made about 3 weeks after I had applied and an interview was scheduled shortly. It consisted of a short video call with HR, about 15-30min, where both parts presented their background. The atmosphere was always relaxed and welcoming and no technical questions were made.
A second interview, with a lead/senior engineer, was scheduled shortly. The interview started with a brief introduction of the projects within zeroG and then some technical questions followed. After the interview, a use case was sent.
I had about 1 week to solve the challenge (it was designed for about 3-5h). It was a fairly simple coding challenge to assess your programming skills. You have plenty of time to cover everything that is asked.
A third and final interview was scheduled to discuss the use case. The panel consisted of 3 interviewers: one HR and two lead/senior engineers. Everyone is friendly and they make sure you are comfortable and relaxed; the questions were all related to the use case.
I was then made an offer a few days later. Took about 3 weeks since the first interview up to the offer.
