A recruiter will reach out to do a phone screen followed by a phone interview with a senior manager. The next step was a second interview with a hiring manager. During both interview's I was asked to do role plays with the managers showing how you can retain the customer and show you know how to ask the right questions.

The Owner of Joe's Pizza calls in and wants to cancel the company's yelp advertising. Try to retain the business.
Standard filtering/fluff questions followed by a Mock sales pitch. It was not very different from other Sales/CS roles that I have applied to. It was not very difficult or novel at all.

I just had a quick screening call, and it was really focused on sales, more than on customer service. Cold calling is a big part of the role, and commissions don’t start until about 6 months in.
