I was very disappointed by the interview process over there. I was told that they like to move fast, but the process all the way to final selection took well over 2 months. I even took a day off work to fly up to San Jose for a presentation that lasted all of 30 minutes (That's an entire day out of my busy work schedule to present for 30 minutes, then wait 4 hours for my flight back home). It felt as though my recruiter was clearly representing two candidates applying for the same role, hence the zero communication. I've never felt so out of the loop regarding a position. Every time I finally got a phone call from the recruiter to get more information, I had to deal with the noise of my recruiter ordering coffee in the background. I felt deeply disrespected and know that my time and energy is worth more than this process. By the end of the already difficult process, I was left with a final 1 minute phone call (after a 2 month process) telling me that they went with another candidate. This comes after I spent time researching a potential move up there and all sorts of other sacrifices. I hope they can get this together for future candidates. Time is important for all parties, and a little respect would go a long way.
