Met with recruiter initially, and immediately following was presented a technical screening process.
The tech screen was 1 personality assessment (dozens of questions ~30 min), 1 general cognitive assessment (20 min cap), 3 Hackerrank Questions (~ 3-4 hr).
The recruiter was very accommodating when I had to deal with a personal matter during the 3rd Hackerrank question by sending a 4th question so I had more time to complete.
Outside of "take home" assessments, this was easily the most extensive tech screen I've ever experienced. It took me the better part of an entire afternoon to complete everything.
Often when I have had take home assessments, I've at least talked to another dev or someone from the hiring team. This process was very frontloaded before ever talking to someone on the team.
After putting in a lot of time on my end, without that time reciprocated, I then never heard from WiseTech - not even a generic indication that they wouldn't be moving forward.
I reached out to the recruiter twice shortly after the assessment in an effort to at least confirm this suspicion since I had other interview processes in progress and wanted to be able to understand my standing.
In the end, I was ghosted after committing more time to screen than any other interview I've done.
Difficulty-wise I'm putting difficult for the role at mid-level, but I'd consider it somewhat average for a senior role, time requirements not withstanding.

So I applied as a Frontend Engineer. The HR contacted me and went for a 30 minute interview about my experiences on my resume. She mentioned that this company has a rotation program where you can choose whatever end you wanna work ultimately whether frontend/backend/mobile/devops. They sent me a 4.5 hr hackerrank challenge (yeah sounds unreasonable) and she said that it will be focused on DSA. I scanned this website and found out that those applying for Senior Software Engineer has the same exam as what I was gonna take. Then all of a sudden I found out they changed the position to Senior Frontend Engineer.
I completed the exam but the code only passed some of the test cases so I knew I wasn't getting this.
They emailed me about not getting the job after a short while but in their rejection they said I didn't pass as a Sofware Engineer which is not even the position I'm applying for.
So it's like I applied for Frontend, they changed it to Senior Frontend, was given the exam same for a Senior Software Engineer and got rejected as a Software Engineer.
They sure do have a lazy system of posting different positions but basically reusing the same exam. So a software engineer will probably have the same responsibilities as a Senior Engineer but with not the lower salary.
That's what you're getting into if you apply.
