To be honest, I didn't know what recruiting was until my initial meet with the supervisor last fall. But he made me feel that this is an industry I should I least try out to see if it was the right fit for me. I have good people skills, I have experience on a sales floor, and I'm comfortable speaking with people over the phone that I may not ever meet.
