Arrived at the undermanned start-up in Shoreditch (staff were ill so there were only 2 people in the building), nervous but inquisitive as to what the job would entail, after waiting a while, I was offered up a laptop by a chief technical staff member who asked me to create a rather large software game from scratch. The rest of the interview involved having him feel my leg with his foot as he watched me wince under the pressure of not being able to use stack overflow or any other aides in order to get to grips with the large technical scope of the interview challenge (I looked over as a misdemeanour at the time due to technical focus and nature of the set up). The interview then went onto a basement room where I got grilled on other areas of my motivation for being there. If all of your interviews entail this method with a singular staff member, there shall surely be others willing to reveal how an interview with We Got Pop really went and in time perhaps change his odd approach to interviewing total strangers.
