Unorganized and lengthy interview process; recruiter disconnected with needs of position. Applied via Visas online portal. 4 weeks later, was contacted by recruiter via LinkedIn account. She did not seem to know that I had applied through their portal. Interviewed once on phone, and again via video. Next steps were to interview with admin team, then a panel of senior leaders. After these 4 steps, candidates then meet the Executive. Very long process; since I already had job offers there was no way I would be able to wait it out. Recruiter had very little info on what Exec was looking for; however, did offer negative opinion of him. In this market, companies need to move fast. Visa is still behind the times. Advice to Visa: executives need chemistry with their assistants; that should be an early step in the interview process. All these other layers of interviews are a waste of everyone's time.
