Went for a group interview early January, I was called back the day after submitting an application, the interview went well and I was told I would be receiving a call in 2 days to meet with the department manager of pink. I received a call a week later for my final interview with that department manager which was another week later. The days in between my references were called. I go to the interview she asked about 4 or 5 questions, then began to tell me they aren't hiring in that department right now because the store business is slowing down and they would begin hiring more mid February. And I could follow up to check on my application around that time. Which was confusing because I called before and was told they don't do application updates.This made no sense to me because why was I told this would be a good department for me and be brought back in for a second interview if you weren't hiring at the moment. Super waste of time, the first interviewer was super sweet, she was their recruiter the department manager just seemed super uninterested and just rushed the interview. Basically if you're not hiring don't waste people's times having them come back in for more interviews.
