A couple of days after I sent my application, I received an email that invited me to complete a personality and cognitive assessment in order to be considered for the next phase of the recruitment process. The test was multiple-choice and took about fifteen minutes to complete, and a few weeks after I submitted it, Vertafore scheduled a final interview with me. The final interview was overall a very enjoyable experience; the questions were just difficult enough in order to test your knowledge in core programming and test development skills without delving too far into LeetCode territory. I could tell that my strengths as a developer were being accurately assessed during this interview, so, although I didn’t end up getting an offer, I do recommend that others apply to this company.
