Firstly, let me introduce myself. I am an international student in Canada, and I completed my studies at a college. I have one year of experience in the software development field, including an internship in the QA field here in Canada. The first time I had an interview, it went smoothly, and the overall experience was good. The interviewer agreed to a second round of interviews. However, during the interview, when I mentioned that I am currently on a study permit, his tone completely changed. I haven't heard back from him, not even a rejection email. I applied again through LinkedIn and got a chance for a second interview. Just as she was about to schedule my interview, she told me that my experience is not sufficient. The funny thing is, on their website, they mentioned that having a degree in Computer Science is sufficient. She asked for more than 1 year of experience in QA for an entry-level position, which surprised me. But I think she rejected me because I have a degree from a college, not a university. Overall, if you are an international student in Canada holding a degree from a college, don't waste your time applying at Veeva. It's literally a waste of time. They will subject you to four rounds of interviews and consume a month of your time. Think twice about it!
