      Entrevista

--November 10 - I had my first call with the recruiter --November 21 - I had a one hour call with the hiring manager. I asked a lot of questions about work culture and diversity. (It's important to me.) The hiring manager told me he would give me some contact information for other folks at the company that I could talk to about their DE&I initiatives. Additionally, the hiring manager told me they always go on hiring freeze in December because their CEO doesn't like to bring people on during the dead time around the holidays. But they were looking to double the team in the next year, and they would likely fill this spot in early January. (This should have been my first 🚩.) --November 28 - I sent an email to follow up with the hiring manager to see if I could get those DE&I references. I never heard back about this. (🚩🚩🚩) --December 2 - I had a call with a senior member of the team. --December 19 - I gave a 50-minute presentation about using VeevaVault to the team with which I'd be working. I was not compensated for the time that I spent on this presentation (🚩🚩🚩), and it took me several hours to prepare. This was after I told the organization that I was looking for better work/life balance, as I was currently working way more hours than was feasible for me. --December 21 - The hiring manager told me he wanted to extend an offer but were waiting for approval from the leadership team. (🚩) --January 9 - I still hadn't heard anything from the company, so I reached out to the hiring manager to ask what was going on (🚩). He said that holidays threw a wrench in the schedule, and he was still working to push the last couple of details through, but could I start on February 2 so that I could attend their annual internal conference? --January 20 - More than two months after my first call with the recruiter, and more than a month after I gave a 50-minute presentation to the team - the hiring manager emailed me to tell me they were still evaluating the decision internally (🚩 different from the messaging I had previously received), but he was continuing to press leadership on a path forward. This was the last time I ever heard from Veeva. Every interaction I had with them was pleasant, but they ruined any chance they had with me because of their lack of communication. I do not want to work for an organization where communication is unclear, whether it's because people are too overworked to answer their emails or for another reason. It's incredibly disrespectful and rude to leave a candidate dangling in the wind like this. Way to captain your own ship, Veeva.

      Pregunta 1

How many projects are you used to managing at once? How long did your implementations last? Tell me about your experience working with customers in previous implementation roles, specifically in "white glove" situations.
