Mostly vague, open-ended “questions” like, “I see you’ve worked both on a team and alone.. expand on that.” I came away with the general impression that the interviewer lacked necessary experience for technical assessment. The entire interview was only about 4-5 questions that were too vague to remember, nothing on the subject of actual technical ability. Despite being a documented, 20+ yr master tech, they seemed to think I might struggle with “20 different tools and 200 parts” again, with absolutely no assessment. Kind of strange.
