The first round of interviews ended up being a tight-packed 1/2 hour (I was under the impression it was going to be a 1 hour interview) so I didn't have the chance to ask many questions and it ended quite abruptly. From the portion that we did have, it was average - discuss interest, job background, inclinations, etc. After that I was told I would hear soon. I wrote to the internal recruiter several days later to express my renewed interest, since he had said to contact him with any questions or concerns. After 3 attempts each about 1+ week apart he (internal recruiter) finally wrote back to me saying I would be going on to round 2, that they liked me and my responses a lot. Weeks went by without contact. I reached out once again - after the 3rd time I just stopped. Ghosting or not, this was unprofessional.
