Small group interview plus presentation. The hiring committee included the department chair and various department members. The presentation was on my background and qualifications to teach. It was a pleasant process and everyone seemed to be genuinely interested in me.

It was a full day event that began with breakfast and ended with dinner along with a research and teaching demonstration. I also met with the college dean, department head, library personnel and students. Even at dinner, I was being evaluated.
