I applied for an international role with UST. The job description was posted in English, it asked for the CV to be sent in English, English was mandatory per the job description. and the role was facing and interacting with international teams that speak the global business language of English. The interviewer called and spoke in Spanish, he was apparently unaware that the position was posted in English for an English speaker. The interview lasted about 5 minutes, he later called back and said that the hiring manager doesn't even speak English - so they need a Spanish speaker. How is this even possible for a global company? Shame on UST for allowing this to happen.
