Applied in Nov.2017, took my exam 473 shortly after applying. Almost as soon as i walked out i rec'd my results and i had gotten at 83%. I applied for some positions for RCA but they were too far from me. So i waited until one opened up closer to me and applied. I found a CCA position and applied for it on 12/11/17.... waited some weeks and finally got a invite to interview on 12/24/17. Waited a few more weeks then finally had my interview which was today (1/10/18)....
Now, The interview was downtown at the big USPS branch for the city and it was about 40 people that were in my group. I got to the interview about 10:30 and watched a few videos and waited to be called. We were taken to another room where they copied our ID/SS card etc... then i had my interview which was pretty straightforward but easy. In all the process took about 2-3 hours. So now im waiting to hear back about the interview i will update when i hear something.
The only thing im questioning is why we didn't fill out any of the I-9 forms or be fingerprinted like i see others were but i guess they are doing things differently where i live

Pour, there was no interview. Everyone is welcome to apply for this”government ” job. I personally think that the whole process should be changed. Employees should be the face of this company.

There is no interview process. You just get selected, and have to pass a process for your background and fingerprints. After that you do a shadow day, to decided if thats a job you want to do.

There is not an interview for this position. Just apply online, pass the background screening and receive your start date. Best time to apply is for the holiday season. I was hired on for the holiday season and received a call back in less than a month after the season ended to return back for a 360 position.
