Two-rounds interview process + one day of assessment center. Two first rounds were more centered around understanding my motivation, confirm technical knowledge on financials and spoke about previous experiences. Assessment center was an in-site day with multiple case studies (business case studies discussed orally), meeting 4 people from various teams.

Talk to me about this deal you worked on. What was your role ?
Informal and 50/50 split between behavioral and technical. Consisted of 4 phone calls with various members of the team, starting with director, and then Senior Associate, and then Analyst for the more technical interview.
Standard technicals, but not the best culturally. Asked to walk through M&A transaction, as well as mental math. Asked to talk to previous experiences, particularly past technical experience. Very very serious.

Need some understanding on the sector to be covered. And also some technical questions.
But the chemistry did not went well.
