I did personally talk to the Director in charge of hiring for this role and received feedback on the candidates we've talked to thus far and got what I felt was reasonable, unbiased feedback as to why decisions were made for each candidate. Based on your experience, however, it's clear we have more work to do to better address bias in the hiring process - both perceived and real - and can only get better by being aware of perceptions that emerge from candidates, so thank you for the feedback.
