Entirely behavioral. If you've had enough interviews and a decent level of self-awareness, you'll be fine. They do want to make sure you're committed to the company, though, as the learning curve for underwriters is very long. Many management positions require at least 8 years of experience. It may not seem long as you read but millenials like myself tend to find this a bit protracted. Overall, long, information-heavy, but fun way to start a career; you'll make good friends and connections with your fellow trainees and you'll have a relaxed transition from college to career.

took about a month. Went through a phone screen with a recruiter and then three interviews with three different supervisors of the region I would be working in. Everyone was super helpful and nice, interviews were very laid back. They just wanted a sense of my work ethic, how I make decisions, how I work with others etc.

Quick, well structured and thorough interview process. I met with peers, managers and directors during the process. Lots of STAR questions and asking how my previous role would help me in the program.

Entrevista
Applied for Associate Account Executive Position. The HR rep said he was going to get me into the Underwriting Professional Development Program to help me grow into the Account Executive position. Applied, got an email with the HR guy, set up a time to talk, talked for a few minutes and then decided to give me an interview. Interviewed with who is now my boss and then her boss over Zoom (COVID times). Super nice and friendly people and just wanted to get to know me better. No tough questions, mostly asked about school and background/internship experience with insurance. Some situational questions but other then that easy conversational interview. They called me a little less than a month later with a job offer. Good experience overall
