The interview process was fairly normal - an initial phone screen (with hiring manager), and then moving on to a Zoom interview with a department leader & colleague, wrapping up with the hiring manager again. While the process was normal and the difficulty was average, it was incredibly disappointing that after the investment of time I was ghosted by the hiring manager. Throughout the process the hiring manager mentioned that I was a good fit for the role, but clearly I wasn't if they ignored me after the 90-minute Zoom call & several follow up emails. I'm ok with being rejected if I'm not a great fit - a piece of advice would be to even send out an automated note instead of leaving candidates hanging.
