El proceso duró 1 día. Acudí a una entrevista en Teach For India (New York, NY) en feb 2011
Entrevista
The assesment day consisted of two parts- a short lesson of 5 minutes and a final 1:1 interview of 40 minutes.
The 5 minutes lesson went well and when I went for the interview there was only one interviewer. She was asking me questions and also typing herself in her laptop which was little uncomfortable to me as I wasn't sure if she was listening me properly.
A hypotetical situation: you are a teacher in a school teaching 3rd graders and your principal hasn't hired an english teacher even when he promised that he would soon. how would you convinve him?
Interview based on competencies and skills and it was very comfortable and freindly experience, just prepare your CV and most of it will be good. really try to give forward why you want to join teach for india, make sure to communicate waht you want to create
It was a Unique process filled with case study, group discussion, interaction and more importantly they made the candidates feel comfortable. That allowed for the natural reactions and responses from the candidates. It was a great experience.

The entire interview and onboarding process was so smooth, the staff members were extremely helpful and respectful, unlike corporates. Teach For India is very well-managed and it understands people and their needs extremely well. Have got selected for the 2-year teaching fellowship, looking forward to it!
