TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES was the first company which came for recruitment in our college, ( INTEGRAL UNIVERSITY, LUCKNOW ). the first phase of the interview was the aptitude round, in which we were given around 80 objective questions which were to be solved in on hour, this test was not very tuff. there were basic aptitude questions which could be easily solved with a practise of a month or two. the second round was the technical interview round, a student was only called for this round if he/she had cleared the first round. In this round of mine , the interviewer asked me from 6 subjects of mine. as i m an electronics and communication engg. student the interviewer didnt asked me much from C,C++ or JAWA or any other language. The interviewer asked me questions from following subjects:- !. BASIC ELECTRONICS 2. DIGITAL ELECTRONICS 3. NETWORK ANALYSIS AND SYNTHESIS 4. CONTROL SYSTEMS 5 BASICS OF DIGITAL AND ANALOG COMMUNICATION 6 FUNDAMENTALS OF I.T. The 6th subject that i've mentioned is nothing but basic of C language, he asked me around 2 questions from each subjects, in which one numerical was also there. At the last of my technical interview he asked me a puzzle, whose ans. i already knew, and then he again asked me another puzzle which was a new one for me and a bit tuff too so was not able to ans. this question. In my whole technical interview i gave ans. of each and every question asked by the interviewer except for 2 questions. On the 2nd day of my selection process, i got a call for the H.R. interview round. In this round the interviewer asked me about my family, my father's occupation, his post , what he exactly does there, what is the difference b/w a govt. and a semi govt. company, why i need this job, why i want to join TCS being an ELECTRONICS engg. , and the most basic question.. tell me about urself , In this round i got a bit nervous, which really made bad impression on the interviewer, but i again focused on the questions and i gave a superb impression in the remaining interview. That's how my interview process completed,and after waiting for 5-6 hours for result, i heard my name in the list of the selected candidates..:-)
